MSNBC President Apologizes For Tweet That Spoke Truth: That The Republican Right-Wing Is Racist & Intolerant

The 'Offensive' Tweet: "Maybe the rightwing will hate it, but everyone else will go awww: the adorable new #Cheerios ad w/ biracial family." 

The Apology: The tweet was “dumb and offensive” - “that’s not who we are at msnbc.” Said Richard Wolffe, who runs the network’s website. The tweet was deleted.

The Republican National Committee announced it is organizing a boycott of the MSNBC cable network Thursday after the network’s Twitter account posted a message suggesting Republicans “hate” with biracial families...

RNC Chairman Reince Priebus sent a letter Thursday morning to network President Phil Griffin saying he’s banned all RNC staff from “appearing on, associating with, or booking any RNC surrogates on MSNBC,”  and in a separate memo encouraged GOP elected officials and strategists to avoid the network as well.
