Comedy Central picks Larry Wilmore of 'Daily Show' to fill Colbert Report Slot: Show to be called 'The Minority Report' — The Name Alone Was Enough to Make Me Laugh

Wilmore will host his own show called 'The Minority Report with Larry Wilmore' following Stephen Colbert's leave in January, Comedy Central revealed Friday. 'The series will feature a diverse panel of voices currently underrepresented in comedy and television,' according to the station.

Comedy Central has found its successor.

The Colbert Report's coveted time slot will be filled by The Daily Show's "Senior Black Correspondent" Larry Wilmore, the station revealed Friday.

Wilmore will host his own show called "The Minority Report with Larry Wilmore" following Stephen Colbert's leave in January.

Wilmore, who joined "Best F*&#ing News Team Ever!" of "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" in 2006, will take over Colbert's 11:30 p.m. time slot.
