The poll was carried out by the National Democratic Institute (a U.S. State Department funded ‘NGO’) and JMW Consulting.

The background of the people who carried out the poll isn’t necessarily relevant, of course, but this is who carried it out all the same.

Anyway, one of the questions asked in the poll was ‘Do you think Libya is better off, worse off, or about the same as before the 2011 revolution?’, and the results were as follows (p.9):

- Better off: 32%

- Worse off: 41%

- About the same: 26%
