Gaza Death Toll Over 80 as Third Day of Israel Offensive Continues

The Palestinian death toll has risen to 88 as Israel continues airstrikes on the third day of Operation Protective Edge. At least 18 children have been killed in the Gaza Strip since Tuesday, with a further 339 people injured, among them many civilians.
Earlier in the day health sources told RT that the Palestinian death toll had risen to 81 as Israel continued airstrikes on the third day of Operation Protective Edge. At least 18 children have been killed in the Gaza Strip since Tuesday.
The previous fatalities count of 64 was voiced by the Palestinian side on Thursday morning.
Earlier emergency services spokesman Ashraf al-Qidra said the a night strike targeted a coffee shop in the city of Khan Younis, killing six men and wounding at least 15 others, AFP reported.

Palestinian Children Killed in Israel Strikes

Umm Fadi, the mother of three daughters and a son, is trying the best she can to comfort her children. But her nine-year-old, Raghd, is in tears all night, as Israeli airstrikes continue to hit the besieged Gaza Strip.
"It's hard to explain politics to children - they hear from other neighbourhood children that it’s Israel bombing Gaza again, but still I can’t give them an answer as to why," Umm Fadi, who lives in Tal al-Sultan with her husband and children, told Al Jazeera.
On Thursday, An Israeli air strike killed seven Palestinian civilians including five children,in the largest death toll from a single attack since the start of the three-day offensive, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said. . .
Six children were killed in a single air strike alone, the group reported, when an Israeli bomb landed on the home of Odeh Ahmad Mohammad Kaware, an alleged Hamas activist, in Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
