Three members of the Ku Klux Klan who had worked in Florida’s state prisons were arrested on Thursday in an alleged plot to kill a black inmate upon his release, authorities said.

Two of the men currently work for the Florida Department of Corrections, and the third was a former employee, officials said.
Officials said the defendants were members of the Traditional American Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, a white supremacist organization, and were each charged with conspiring to commit murder.
